Teknobyen student housing

Teknobyen student housing is the world's largest shared kitchen run by the students. Here 116 students live in small apartments or rooms with private bathrooms, while sharing a 150 m2 kitchen, a 220 m2 living room and a 110 m2 terrace.

All mailboxes are located on the ground floor, near the entrance.

Waste disposal

Ordinary waste can be disposed through a slot by the kitchen on the first floor and in the backyard. A waste disposal station for cardboard, paper, plastic, glass and metal is located just outside the main entrance to the building.

If you have special waste, like batteries and paint, you can contact our maintenance department and they can help you get rid of it. There is a waste disposal station for special waste by our reception in Frode Rinnans vei 1 at Moholt.

Storage rooms

Each room has a storage room in the basement. Use your access chip to open the door to the storage room area and your house key to open the storage room.

Parking

There are no parking spaces for tenants at Teknobyen student housing. Contact Trondheim Parkering for information about other options for parking in the area.

Bicycle parking

Bicycles can be parked in the backyard or in the basement. Make sure your bicycle is labeled with a valid parking sticker. You can get bicycle stickers at Sit Bolig's reception or by contacting the tenants board.

Laundry

The laundry is located in the basement and is open between 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
