Klostergata 18 student housing

Klostergata 18 is close to the Studentersamfundet and NTNU Gløshaugen, and within walking distance of the city centre, Elgeseter, Øya and Kalvskinnet. Three to five students share kitchens and bathrooms.

Klostergata 18 is an old apartment building that was completely renovated in 1990-91. It is located by the river Nidelven, just across from the Nidaros cathedral.

Waste disposal

There is a waste disposal station for regular waste outside the building. The nearest waste disposal station for paper, cardboard, plastic glass and metal is located at Klostergata 29.

Storage room

You have access to a storage room in the basement. You use your apartment key to get access.


There are a three parking spaces at Klostergata 18. Apply for renting a parking space online. You also can apply for parking in the parking basement at Singsakerbakken 4 B, or outdoor parking at Nedre Singsakerslette student village.

Bicycle parking

You can park your bicycle outside Klostergata 18. Make sure your bicycle is labeled with a valid parking sticker. You can get bicycle stickers from Sit Bolig's reception.


The laundry is located in the basement of Singsakerbakken 2C at Nedre Singsakerslette student village. Use your laundry card to get access. The laundry is open between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.
