Mail

Merkantilvegen 1 and 61/63 have mailboxes at the main entrance. For the remaining buildings, the mailboxes are located on the wall of Merkantilvegen 61.

Waste disposal

Trash bins and containers are located vis a vis with Merkantilvegen 21 and 59. There are specified bins for general waste, food waste, cardboard/paper and glass/metal respectively. Plastic is disposed in a separate shed next door. There is also a waste station with rubbish sorting between Merkantilvegen 1 and 8. Here, there is sorting in separate containers for residual waste, food, cardboard/paper, plastic and glass/metal.

Storage room

The storage rooms belonging to Merkantilvegen 7-59 are adjacent to the common areas in each individual building. The storage rooms at Merkantilvegen 61/63 are in the basement/right outside the building. See overview inside the main entrance. At Merkantilvegen 49/51 the storage room is located at the entrance to the housing. There is no access to storage rooms in Merkantilvegen 1, but as a tenant with Sit, it is possible to rent external outside stalls in the student village. These can be booked at bolig.sit.no.

Parking

There are 20 parking spaces for rent in the parking garage in the basement at Merkantilvegen 1, of which 2 spaces are HC spaces. In addition, there are 7 outdoor parking spaces for rent at Merkantilvegen 61, of which 1 is a HC space. The parking spaces can be booked at bolig.sit.no. For outdoor parking, a parking permit must be collected and used before the parking space can be used. Parking permit can be collected at Sit Bolig's housing office (G building at NTNU) during opening hours.

Parking for bicycles

There is outside bicycle parking at Merkantilvegen 1. A separate storage room for charging electric bicycles/electric scooters is located at the end of Merkantilvegen 7. The key to the storage room can be borrowed from Sit Bolig's housing office (G building at NTNU). There is also a separate bicycle shed at Merkantilvegen 61 and 63, where it is possible to charge batteries for electric bicycles/electric scooters.

NB! Batteries for electric bicycles and electric scooters should not be charged inside the student housings.

Bicycles must be marked with a valid sticker. This can be picked up at Sit bolig housing office (G building at NTNU). Bicycles without a valid sticker may be removed without notice.

Laundry

The laundry is located in Merkantilvegen 1. Laundry is paid for with Airwallet (instructions are available in the laundry). Tumble dryers are free to use.
