Rosenborg student village is centrally located in the area between Møllenberg and Rosendal. It is in walking distance to both Dronning Mauds Minne and Solsiden. Short distance to bus and good bus connections to the city's other campuses. The building has 114 private rooms. These rooms are in shared apartments where either 3, 6 og 7 students live together. Right next to the student village you will find Trondheim Vandrerhjem, which is also owned and run by Sit.
Resident information
House key
NB! Note that your house key can be collected from the reception at Trondheim Vandrerhjem, right next to the student village. You can collect it on the day your contract starts, at the earliest. Before you collect the key, you must send an email with the signed contract to [email protected].
The opening hours at Trondheim Vandrerhjem are 08:00-22:00 all days of the week.
Internet
Wireless internet is included in your rent. Internet is provided by NTE. Eventually Sit will connect Rosenborg student village to the same internet provider as our other student villages.
Storage room
Each shared apartment has access to a storage room in the basement.
Parking
In low season, a few parking spaces are rented out in the parking basement at Trondheim Vandrerhjem, contact the reception at the hostel for more information. Otherwise you can apply for residential zone parking through Trondheim Parkering.
Bicycle parking
You have access to bicycle storage right outside the building. There is a bicycle rack where you can store your bike. Note that all bicycles must be marked with a valid sticker. Bicycle sticers are available in the laundry in the basement. Bicycles without these stickers may be removed without notice.
Laundry
The laundry is in the basement. A completely new and modern washing system with automatic soap dosing and Airwallet payment solution is used. Payment for washing takes effect from 01.08.2023, but use of the tumble dryer will be free.
