Erling Skakkes gate student housing

Erling Skakkes gate student housing consists of 2 older houses built together:

• A wooden building from around 1840, originally part of the Poor House. (Erling Skakkes gate 68)
• A brick building from 1930. (Erling Skakkes gate 70)

The student housing is located in the Kalvskinnet/Ila district, within walking distance of the city center and the Kalvskinnet campus. There are good bus connections to the city's other campuses.

Residen information

Internet

Internet is included in the rent. It is a WIFI solution with its own password. The QR code for the WIFI network can be found in the apartment.

You can find the mailboxes on the outer wall of the entrance area in Erling skakkes gate 68.

Waste disposal

The container for residual waste can be found at the entrance to the backyard. Nearest recycling station for cardboard, paper, plastic, glass and metal can be found in Erling Skakkes gate 58.

Storage room

There is no access to storage rooms.

Parking

There are no parking spaces at the student housing, but it is possible to apply for zoned parking in the area at Trondheim parkering.

Parking for bicycles

Outdoor bicycle parking is available in the backyard by Erling Skakkes gate 70. All bikes must have a valid bike permit, available from the housing reception at Frode Rinnans veg 1. Bikes without a permit may be removed without notice.

There are tables and benches in the backyard.

Laundry

• Erling Skakkes gate 70: Shared laundry room with 1 washing machine and 1 tumble-dryer on the 3rd floor. Please bring your own detergent.
• Erling Skakkes gate 68: The apartments have facilities for private washing machine in the bathroom.
