There are many types of contraception, so knowing which one is the right choice for you can be difficult. Our health nurses can offer advice and guidance to help you find the option that suits you best.
You can also book an appointment to renew your prescription.
In Trondheim, we offer free insertion of contraceptive implants. However, if you want to have a hormonal coil/copper IUD inserted, you must contact your GP.
If you are under 21 (Trondheim) or 25 (Ålesund or Gjøvik), you may also contact the youth health clinic in the municipality where you study..
