The training centre has got a healthy training culture where both athletes and new beginners feel welcome. At the training centre you find all the equipment you need for endurance training and weight training. In each centre there is a designated area for core training. We can offer a broad variety of group sessions, such as spin classes, step, strenght, core, cardio dance, yoga and many more. You are guaranteed to find a session that suits your performance level. Highly skilled instructors lead the sessions, so you are guaranteed a good workout. You can find a description of the different classes here.
Are you interested in yoga and want to learn more? Sign up for our different yoga courses. The courses are divided into different levels, and lasts for 6-12 weeks.
Training advisors and personal trainers
You can get a free appointment with one of our well educated training advisors. They can help you set up a training program, and answer questions you may have concerning exercise, health and nutrition. Book an appointment here, or contact one of the advisors directly. If you want more coaching and follow up we recommend our personal trainers. This you have to pay extra for.
The climbing wall, Dragwall, is located at Dragvoll Idrettssenter. It is twelve metres tall, and there is room for about 20 climbers at the time. We offer a variety of routes to fit any skill level. To be able to climb you must confirm that you have all the necessary skills for safe climbing. In addition to DragWall there is also a boulder room at Idrettsbygget Gløshaugen.
The squash courts at Dragvoll are very popular. You can book a court online, and rent racket and ball at a reasonable price.
NEW: Child care at Moholt
Sit Barn at Moholt welcomes all children of students to the Cultural workshop. Here the child can participate in different acitivities, while you get a good workout. Rate: 40 NOK per hour, includes a meal for the child.
- Wednesday and Thursday: 5 pm to 8 pm
- Saturday: 10 am to 4 pm
Cooperation with the student sport association NTNUI
NTNUI is the name of the NTNU students sport association. Students at NTNU who buy a training card at Sit, automatically become members of NTNUI. Then you have the opportunity to join the different groups, and participate in all the activities arranged by the association. With over fifty activities, NTNUI is the largest sports association in Norway. Read more about NTNUI here.
As a student at DMMH you have the same opportunity with the DMMH student sport association (DMMHI).
