Work out with Sit – the students fitness centres in Trondheim!

Sit – The Student Welfare organisation – has created a custom-made training offer that’s compatible with your student life.

Are you a new student in Trondheim? We have the best training offer for you!

As a student it is important to get the most value for your money! A gym membership at our fitness- and sports centres are therefore customised to suit students’ wallets:

  • International students: 1200,- for a 6-month membership. This membership includes a membership in NTNUI (The Student Sports Association).
  • International students: 370,- for a 1-month membership.

In August and September, you can also take advantage of one free trial pass if you want to try of our staffed centers before buying a membership. Contact one of our receptions and they will help you with this.

Fitness and sports centres 

If you buy a membership with us, you get free access to our five, modern fitness and sports centres which are centrally located near campus and the largest student accommodations. Three of our fitness facilities are staffed all day; Gløshaugen, Solsiden and Dragvoll. In addition, we have two smaller, unstaffed gyms located at Moholt Student Village and at Queen Maud's Memorial College.

At the fitness and sports centres you’ll find free-weight and self-training areas of good quality, as well as dedicated areas for cardio exercise – all with top-of-the-line equipment.

 

Varied and fun group fitness classes!

Do you enjoy working out with others? Then you have something to look forward to! We have over 100 group fitness classes every week. We offer something for everyone, whether you enjoy yoga or dance, or even pump or Cross-Fit inspired sessions. All our classes are led by highly skilled and energetic instructors who focus on spreading joy and giving you the best training experience, you could possibly have.

Are you an NTNU/DMMH-student and want to join a sports team? When you buy membership with us, membership with NTNUI / DMMHI is included in the price. Participate in over 60 activities and sports –  everything from handball, cross-country skiing, volleyball, lacrosse and football to dance, fencing, climbing and Tae Kwon Do.
