Our CEO Audhild Kvam welcome all new international students to Trondheim.
Hi everyone!
My name is Audhild Kvam, and I am the CEO of Sit. Sit is the Welfare Organisation for all students in Ålesund, Gjøvik and Trondheim, and our job is to make sure that your student life is as good as possible – also outside of the classroom! Part of the tuition fee that you pay is allocated to Sit, so that we can develop and deliver tailor-made products and services for you as a student. So, Sit is indeed your own organisation.
As a student in Trondheim, either by NTNU, BI, DMMH or Fotofagskolen, you are able to use and access all is Sits services and offers. Maybe you are for example already living in Sit housing? We have different offers on the various campuses, but you can access all our services and offers regardless of where you study. We have many different canteens and coffee shops, all with unique menus and different specialities. In Trondheim you will also find 5 different training centres, where you can get a great work-out or join in a huge variety of group sessions. On Campus we have our very pleasant councillors, who are experts on what it entails to be a student. Their doors are always open for a talk if you need it.
If you are a student with small children, we have 2 different kindergartens that can take care of your child while you study. We also have our own Student centre at Campus Gløshaugen, where you can hang out, participate in activities or just take a coffee, and our Student Loft “Loftet”, that is situated in the heart of Moholt Student Village.
