Our student villages
Berg student village opened in the autumn of 2010, and is the nearest neighbour to NTNU Gløshaugen. It is also within walking distance of HiST Elgeseter. There are many connecting buses to the city centre and NTNU Dragvoll as well.
Berg is a very popular student villages with its "cubes" and "snakes". Here you'll find shared kitchens of every size. You can live in a studio apartment by yourself, share an apartment with your girlfriend og boyfriend, or live in a shared kitchen with other students.
Bloksberg student housing was opened in 2004. Here you'll find rooms in shared kitchens, studio apartments and couples apartments. The building has an elevator, parking basement, and has been adapted for wheelchair users. The common areas include a large roof terrace with a great view of the Nidaros cathedral.
Bloksberg is close to the Student Society and is within walking distance of Gløshaugen, Øya and all campuses close to the city centre, as well as the Idrettsbygget Gløshaugen gym.
Frode Rinnans vei student village consists of 102 small, cozy terrace houses with their own entrance and garden patch, where two students share kitchen and bathroom. the low houses with turfed roofs give the student village a rustic feel.
The student village is within walking and cycling distance of NTNU Dragvoll and Gløshaugen. It is also close to HiST Moholt. If you're attending Queen Maud University College, this is one of the nearest student villages for you.
Jakobsliveien student housing lies east of the city centre, with a short distance to outdoors recreational areas.
It is located within bicycle distance of Queen Maud University College, HiST Rotvoll and NTNU Dragvoll. There is a bus stop right outside the door.
Karinelund student village is located in Moholt. It consists of two storeyed terrace houses separated by lawns, trees and walkways. The lawns are a natural meeting place for the students. The air is calm and relaxed. Moholt student village and the Activity house there is just down the road.
From Karinelund you are within walking and cycling distance of NTNU Dragvoll and Gløshaugen. It is also close to HiST Moholt. If you're attending Queen Maud University College, this is one of the nearest student villages for you.
Klostergata 18 is a wonderfull old apartment building that was completely renovated in 1990-91. It is located by the river Nidelven, just across from the Nidaros cathedral. The Student Society and NTNU Gløshaugen is close by, and you live within walking distance of the city centre, Øya and Kalvskinnet. Three to five students share kitchens and bathrooms.

This property was bought by SiT in 2006. The shared kitchens and apartments are rented out as they are, awaiting development of the property. It is located by the river Nidelven, just across from the Nidaros cathedral. The Student Society and NTNU Gløshaugen is close by, and you live within walking distance of the city centre, Øya and Kalvskinnet. Two to five students share kitchens and bathrooms.
Klostergata 56 is located in Øya and consists of three identical buildings with a total of nine apartments where seven students share kitchens and bathrooms. It lies within walking distance of Gløshaugen, Øya and Kalvskinnet, as well as the Idrettsbygget Gløshaugen gym.
Lerkendal student village is located in Klæbuveien 120 to 130, near Gløshaugen and Øya, and with excellent bus connections to all of the cities campuses.
In the autumn of 2013 the first half of the student village opens, with 228 rooms in shared kitchens and 35 apartments for couples without children.
Magnus den Godes gate 2 is a charming, old apartment building that was made into student housing in the eighties. It is located near Gløshaugen and is within walking distance of all the capuses located near the city centre. Here no two rooms are alike, and you share kitchens and bathrooms with everything from two to five other students.
Moholt student village is Trondheim's largest student village. It lies within walking and bycycling distance from Dragvoll and Gløshaugen, and is near HiST's campus at Moholt. It is also one of the nearest student villages if you're attending Queen Maud University College.
Moholt is renowned for a large, social and international student milieu. Here you have Resident assistants who run the Activity house at Moholt, and 25 student basements run by different student unions and organizations, where many social events take place during the terms.

Nedre Berg student village consists of cozy wooden houses in an established residential area. It is located right next to Gløshaugen. Here you'll find spacious apartments for two student who share kitchen and bathroom, or for couples without children.
Nedre Singsakerslette studentby is triangulated by the city centre, the Student Society in Trondheim and Gløshaugen. Gløshaugen sports centre is the nearest neighbour. The student village consists of older, rehabilitated buildings and new buildings.
Parkbygget is located at Solsiden, Nedre Elvehavn, which is a commercial shopping area in Trondheim. Here you'll find a wide selection of restaurants, stores and cultural facilities.
The building consists of 60 rooms spilt across three floors, where four to six students share kitchens and bathrooms. There are large common areas in all the apartments, and outside each living room is a balcony with a great view of the area.
Trondheim Academy of Fine Art lies just across the street, and you're within walking distance of all campuses close to the city centre.
Steinan student village was built in the early nineties. It consists of 30 small houses and two four storey blocks. The student village has spacious outdoor areas well suited for social activities. It is located in a suburban area about 7 km from the city centre, and has a local conveniance store and good access to public transportation.
Three students share kitchens and bathrooms in the blocks, and four students share kitchens and bathrooms in the small houses. Steinan student village is within walking and bicycle and walking distance of Gløshaugen and Dragvoll.

Sverresgate 8 lies in the middle of Trondheim's city centre. The apartments are intended for couples without childrem, but can also be rented out to single students. It is located in the Kalvskinnet campus and within walking distance of Øya and Gløshaugen.
Teknobyen student housing is the world's largest shared kitchen that is run by the students themselves. Here 116 students live in small apartments or rooms with private bathrooms, while shareing a 150 m2 kitchen, a 220 m2 living room and a 110 m2 terrace. If you're social and outgoing and want to meet new people, this is the place for you.
Teknobyen is located right next to Gløshaugen and Øya, and is within walking distance of Kalvskinnet.
