Ingredients for 5 portions

  • 3 Pieces Tomatoes

  • 1 Piece Apple

  • 2 Pieces Onions

  • 1 Piece Bell pepper

  • 1 Piece Squash

  • 1 Piece Garlic

  • 400 Gram Chicken mincemeat

  • 2 Pieces Kidney beans (with or without chili)

  • 2 Pieces Vegetable bullions

  • 1 Piece Tomato paste (can)

  • 1 Piece Canned chopped tomato

  • 1 Piece Tortilla chips (bag)

  • 6 Pieces Tortillas wraps

  • 2 Pieces Taco spice mix

  • 3 Deciliters Sour cream

  • 1 Piece Shredded cheese (one packet)

How to make 5 dishes

  • Heat oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the package of chicken mincemieat and cook until browned.
  • Dice onions, squash, bell pepper, and finely chop garlic cloves.
  • Once the chicken mincemeat is cooked, set aside some of the vegetables for pizza toppings.
  • Add tomato paste and onions to the pot and cook briefly with the mincemeat.
  • Add the can of chopped tomatoes, 1 bouillon cube, 6 dl water, and stir well.
  • Let the base simmer for five minutes, then add taco seasoning.
  • Finally, add the remaining vegetables and kidney beans, and let them simmer for five more minutes.

    Season with salt, sugar, and pepper to taste.

Salad

Prepare a simple salad with apple, tomato, salt, pepper, and oil.

Sour cream dressing

Make sour cream dressing with garlic, lettuce, and pepper. Finely chop garlic, mix it into the sour cream, and season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Place in the refrigerator for a few minutes.

Creating five dishes from the same base

  • Chili con pollo with nachos and sour cream: Enjoy the base with some nachos and sour cream!
  • Tortilla pizza: Take a tortilla, spread some of the base, and sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 210 degrees Celsius for about 7 minutes.
  • Crunch wrap: Fill a tortilla with some of the base, place nachos on top, fold into a hexagon, and cook in a hot pan until golden on both sides.
  • Nachos with apple and tomato salad: Pour the base into an ovenproof dish, top with nachos and cheese, and bake at 190 degrees Celsius for about 10 minutes.
  • Quesadilla with sour cream dressing: Spread some of the base on a tortilla, sprinkle with cheese, fold in half, and bake in the oven or cook in a pan. Serve with sour cream dressing.

Making the Base Vegetarian

Follow the same recipe but make the following changes:

  • Use 3 onions instead of 2.
  • Use 2 squash instead of 1.
  • Replace the chicken mincemeat with an extra can of kidney beans.
