Intro to the Gym sessison is for students who want a little guidance to get started with exercise. The session lasts only one hour, and you can choose the time and Sit gym that suits you best. A qualified instructor from Sit Trening will meet you and guide you through the entire session.

During the session, you'll get:

  • A tour of the gym
  • Information about Sit’s facilities and offers
  • A guided, easy workout session
  • Basic training principles and tips on how to get started at your own pace
  • A simple training programme to take away with you

No prior experience or equipment is needed – just show up as you are.

Free for all students – no Sit gym membership required!

Course leaders

  • Svala is the project leader and training instructor. She holds a Master’s degree in Physical Activity and Health from NTNU and has several years of experience with personal training, group sessions, and lifestyle change programmes for different audiences. She will help you adapt the sessions to suit your needs, level, and student life. Her passion is to help students experience a sense of achievement through physical activity, gain more energy in daily life, and enjoy a better study experience.
