SiT's Environmental Project

Grønn tråd-prosjektet
"Grønn tråd" is an environmental project, where SiT – in close collaboration with students, NTNU, HIST, DMMH and the city of Trondheim – try to reduce the strain on the environment in SiT itself, on campus and wherever the students are.

All our units are involved in the project, and has implemented various measures to promote a more environmentally friendly everyday life. The project will especially concentrate on the following three areas of focus:

As part of the Grønn tråd project, we have placed various so-called "fact cards" in our cafeterias, kindergartens, sports buildings, kiosks, activity buildings, washing factories - almost everywhere where students in Trondheim are to be found. These fact cards contain information about the environmental measures SiT do every day, as well as they encourage students to make their own eco-friendly choice. Look for items marked with a Grønn tråd logo!

In addition, we highly recommend that you try SiT's student-developed animated environmental quiz, and test yourself: How environmentally friendly are you?
