Profit - returned to Students
We have no owners who expect their share of the profit.
- Students decide what the semester fee is spent on. This is done by the 17 students in the Student Welfare Council
- NOK 5,440 million from the semester fees goes to student organizations and associations
- SiT Tapir makes an annual contribution of almost NOK 1 million to various student organizations
- We have invested NOK 30 million in the sports centre Dragvoll Idrettssenter
- We are going to build more student housing in Nedre Singsakerslette and Berg
- We experiment with new ideas to make student life better
- The profit from our external business activities (travel agents, printers and publishers) goes to student activities. The travel agents transfer NOK 225 000 to student welfare each year
