At Steinan student village, there live over 500 students. The student village consists of 30 small houses and 2 four storied long blocks. The housing areas' location between Gløshaugen and Dragvoll makes cycling a practical mean for transportation. Therefore, the housing areas are well facilitated with parking for cycles under roof.

Whenever the weather is favourable, the students meet outside the Activity House, light up the barrel-grill, and crowd the garden for some recreation after a long day at school. The student village also has its own sand volleyball court that is very popular during sunny days.

The Activity House is located right in the middle of all the small houses and is the students'. There are ongoing activities at more days a week.

The student village alse have a sports room in Edgar B. Schieldropsvei 48 (small house), where you have free entrance with the laundry card.

All the residences at Steinan are associated with our service facility that amongst many things include caretakers, laundry and cleaning of the common areas. There is access to high speed Internet, cable TV and telephone in each room/unit.

Steinan student village lies near a recreation area called "Estenstadmarka" and is a perfect place to go skiing and for other field trips. A lighted piste/track is immediately nearby. Alongside the entrance to the student village there is a grocery shop with a post office.
