Magnus den Godesgate 2 is an old block of flats that has since 1983 sheltered students. There are 42 students living in the block. The single-room sizes vary from 9 to 23 square metres.
The student village lies at the foot of the GløshaugenPark. The old block was rehabilitated and turned into a student residence in 1983.
The downtown, Gløshaugen and all downtown-near places of study are within walking distance. It is difficult to park the car in the area but with a cycle, you can reach most of the places you need to. A bus stop is just nearby, with buses going to downtown every other minute during rush hours.
In the basement, the residents have a common living room with a pool table, sound system and suites that are used for social get-togethers. There is also an exercise room in the basement with wall bars and diverse weight-lifting appliances. Use of the house's laundry is included in the rent.
The residences are associated with our service facilities, which amongst other include caretakers and cleaning of the common areas. There is access to high-speed internet and cable TV in every unit.
