The student village Frode Rinnans vei consists of small cosy serial houses containing 102 apartments with separate entrances and lawns. Each apartment contains two single-rooms with a shared kitchen and bathroom. The feeling of home-cosiness increases due to the turf roofs on the low wooden houses.

Frode Rinnans vei consists of two construction stages. Construction stage one was built in 1977, and consists of 56 apartments. All of them are 34 square metres in size. Construction stage two was built in 1982 and consists of 46 apartments, which are all 36 square metres in size.

Each unit has two bedrooms/living-rooms and are rented out for single students. The single-rooms are 12 square meters and also have a loft-room wich can be used as a bed. All the units have been rehabilitated. The apartments are unfurnished, but have white goods. Each room has access to cable TV and high speed internet. All the apartments have entrances at ground level, and in front of every apartment, there is a green area.

From Frode Rinnans vei, both Gløshaugen and Dragvoll are walking distances away. The shopping centre at Moholt is located only 200 metres away. There you will find almost everything including a post office, bakery, bookstore, furniture store and a grocery store. Just nearby, you will also find a petrol station and a library. If you like jogging or simply going for a walk, the field Estenstadmarka is located a short distance away.

On the lawn and pathways between the terraces, students often gather to have barbeques or simply for a cup of coffee. The environment is quiet and relaxed.

On a bicycle, you will reach most of the places you need to go in your daily student life. Nevertheless, if you or your guests have a car, there are plenty of parking spaces. All the residences at Frode Rinnans vei are associated with our service facilities that amongst many things include caretakers, laundry and cleaning of the common areas. There is access to high-speed internet and cable TV in every resident.
