Before departure
A notice of termination can be sent to us by web. Log in at "your page", choose your tenancy contract and fill in the information asked for. In order to pay back your deposit, we need your bank statements such as IBAN number and the SWIFT/BIC code.
Handing in keys and laundry card
If the reception at Moholt (Frode Rinnans) is closed when you plan on handing in your key and laundry card, you can use the slot on the wall on the left side of the main door. Deadline is before 08:00 a.m. the day after your contract has ended.
Cleaning control
Our cleaners will be happy to pay you a visit the day you are moving out to check if cleaning is done up to standard. A check is the best way to avoid misunderstandings about what we expect from you. If cleaning is not up to standard we get extra work and you have to pay for it, not a good deal for any part. The cleaning control can be arranged from 08:30 to 14:00 (2 pm) Monday to Friday. Are you moving out of a single room?
In addition to your room you also have to make sure that the common areas are clean before you leave. Please talk to your flatmates in order to do this together.
Are you moving out of a couples/family-apartment?
Technical control:
A technical control of your apartment will be carried out within 2 weeks after we receive your notice. This is done to reveal any faults that have to be repaired before the next tenants move in. If you already know of any faults in your apartment, we would appreciate it if you notify us at: boligverksted@sit.no. If you wish to be present when we carry out the technical control you can get in touch with us at: utflytting@sit.no within 3 days after you have received this note. If we don't receive an answer within the 3 days, we will let ourselves in to carry out the control.
Remember to take all of your belongings with you. Empty the apartment/room, common areas and storage room.
