As soon as we receive room reservation forms from the international coordinator we send contracts to arriving students. In your contract you will be informed about where, when, what and how much.

All of our international residents are required to pay a deposit of NOK 5000,- (single room) when signing the contract.  The giro is found in the same document as your contract. If you hold a Visa or Mastercard the easiest and cheapest way to pay the deposit is through the "pay deposit" function at www.sit.no/yourpage.

If you use bank transfer both the norwegian and the international bank may charge a fee, so you should consider transferring a higher amount (e.g. NOK 5100). If you pay too much, this will be withdrawn from your first bill.  A transfer would take approximately 14 days, so please email the receipt toghether with your signed contract. Here is the necessary information for money transfers:

Opening hours for the reception

  • Here is a link to the housing contract. Many questions you might have can be answered by reading it beforehand, and perhaps you might find some new questions to ask us.
  • You would be smart to read through the housing instruction before coming. Here you will discover, amongst other things, that it is not a good idea to bring the family dog.
  • Please bring your own duvet, pillow, bedding, kitchen utilities and a pc-cable as the internet is not wi-fi at our student villages.
